WebMechanix wins 3 trophies at the Vega Digital Awards
The 2020 Vega Digital Awards have recognized WebMechanix for its website design and digital marketing work. WebMechanix is a rapidly growing agency that continues to see returns on its dedication to providing clients with tangible results and fast customer service.
As a celebration of creativity in digital media, the Vega Digital Awards span a wide range of categories that recognize the best digital work among advertising agencies, public relations firms, and all other creative professions. Submissions are judged by a hand-selected panel of digital experts from a diverse group of marketing agencies.
Through consistent branding that considered UI and UX factors, combined with appealing color and imagery, WebMechanix revamped HotDocs’s website and won the Arcturus (equivalent to a Bronze) for Cohesive B2B Website Redesign award.
WebMechanix also won a Centauri award (equivalent to a Silver) for updating Vena Nation’s homepage for their annual conference. The new website channeled the excitement of a trip to Las Vegas, where the conference was being held, which enticed users to register for the event.
In the category of digital marketing, WebMechanix won a Centauri award for its banner campaign used in a series of ads. The campaign combined images of faraway places and the occasional llama, transporting users to the relaxed setting of a much-needed vacation.
“While it’s always nice to have a great-looking design to develop, Dennis’s design for venanation.com came with its challenges. From SVG masks to grid-breaking positioning of elements, I had my work cut out for me. I developed this site with a mobile-first approach and with speed, security, trackability, and maintainability in mind. The folks at Vena can hop into WordPress to easily edit everything on the page.” — Walt Irby, Lead Developer

Most newsletters suck...
So while we technically have to call this a daily newsletter so people know what it is, it's anything but.
You won't find any 'industry standards' or 'guru best practices' here - only the real stuff that actually moves the needle.
